Handpan D Amara 10 – space, fluidity and freedom of playing
The Premium Stainless Steel Handpan D Amara 10 is an instrument for those seeking a harmonious, spacious sound and a scale that allows for intuitive playing from the very first moment. Ten carefully tuned notes provide ample opportunity to create your own melodies, while maintaining a clear and natural layout that makes it easy to navigate.
The central D3 note forms the heart of the handpan, while the surrounding A3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, C5, and D5 fields allow for smooth transitions between lower, warm tones and a bright upper register. This makes the D Amara 10 suitable for both quiet, meditative playing and more rhythmic improvisation.
This is a very versatile setup – suitable both as a first handpan and as a follow-up instrument for someone who wants to expand their melodic possibilities.

The D Amara Scale – Intuitive and Melodic
The Amara scale is prized for its fluidity and ease of melodic creation. Its arrangement of notes facilitates improvisation and allows for the natural connection of notes without the need for knowledge of music theory.
With a scale extension up to D5, the Amara 10 Handpan D offers a greater range than basic 9-note configurations. The higher notes of C5 and D5 allow for melodic development and more varied phrasing without complicating the instrument's layout.
This is why the D Amara 10 can be a good choice for a beginner who wants an instrument for the long term, but also for a more experienced musician looking for a simple, musical and versatile scale.
Premium stainless steel – long sustain and rich sound color
The D Amara 10 Handpan is crafted from premium stainless steel. This material promotes long sustain, allowing notes to flow seamlessly into each other, creating a distinctive, spacious timbre.
Each instrument is hand-shaped, tuned, and finished. Therefore, individual pieces may vary slightly in texture, shade, and surface appearance. This is a natural characteristic of handmade handpans and gives each instrument its own individual character.
