You can choose a handpan from 9 to 21 notes, a 432/440 Hz tuning, a color, a series, and a note arrangement. Alternatively, choose one of the proven designs below as a starting point for your own setup.

Each custom handpan ordered from Miłość i Spokój is made to order with the greatest attention to detail and craftsmanship. Our standard production and delivery time is typically about 2–3 months.

Throughout the process, you’ll receive updates about the progress of your instrument, and before shipping, we’ll send you a sound sample recording of your finished handpan for approval.

Modern handpans are most often made of three types of steel: stainless steel, nitrided steel, and special alloys such as Premium Stainless Steel (an improved stainless steel that lasts longer and has a warmer sound). Professional Series: clear, bright sound and good value for money. This is a good choice for a decent first handheld, but also for those who want to play regularly, record, or perform.

Mystical Series: Premium stainless steel, warmer character, longer sustain, and a more enveloping sound. This series is for those seeking a deeper, meditative, or more concert-grade instrument.

Handpan Care & Professional Tuning – Maintaining Your Unique Sound

Every handpan deserves good care – both during its creation and later, when it begins its musical journey with you.

The instruments are hand-tuned by experienced craftsmen, ensuring a clear, deep, and stable sound. Thanks to the high-quality materials, your handpan will stay in tune for a long time if used as intended and stored properly. Avoid extreme weather conditions, drops, and prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight.

How to Order Your Custom Handpan – Step by Step

At Miłość i Spokój, each instrument is custom-made. You don't buy a ready-made product from a warehouse—you choose a base design, and I help you customize the scale, number of notes, tuning, and finish to your needs.

1. Select your handpan type and series
Browse sample handpan configurations. They vary in scale, number of notes, note arrangement, material, and sound character.

These instruments aren't just sitting in stock—each handpan is individually crafted to order. The designs presented on the website are proven configurations that can serve as inspiration for your own instrument.

2. Request a quote online handpanie.
With the handpan selected, click the "Request a quote via email" button. A form will open that will automatically retrieve the name and parameters of the selected configuration.

Then, fill out your contact information, select your outfit, color, and case type, and enter any additional comments. After clicking "Send," I'll receive the complete information in a message.

3. Order confirmation
Once I receive your inquiry, I will contact you to confirm details, refine your setup, provide pricing, and provide payment information.

4. Stay updated on progress
Once your order is approved, we stay in touch. I'll keep you informed about the next steps in your instrument's development and answer any questions you may have during the process.

5. Recording the sound for your approval
During the process, you'll receive a video demonstrating your instrument's sound: tonal character, scale, sustain, and overall resonance. The next stage begins after your approval.

6. Finalization of the instrument
The approved sound isn't the end of the process. The instrument then undergoes the finishing stage: applying the logo, final polishing, securing, and final quality control.

The safest time to complete the entire project is approximately three months from the date your payment is received. If the instrument is ready sooner, I'll let you know immediately.

7. Instrument quality tests in Gdańsk
Before I ship the instrument, I listen to it and compare it to the approved recording. I check the sound quality, tuning, and overall workmanship to ensure the handpan is ready for shipment.

8. Shipment

After the final audition, I securely package the instrument and ship it to the specified address. The shipment is secured and insured.

If none of the proposed configurations meet your expectations, please write to me via the contact tab or choose the project "„HANDPAN-100% your vision” and describe your preferences.

I will prepare an individual quote and help you specify the details of the instrument.

In the message you can include:

• material, e.g. stainless steel or premium stainless steel,
• scale, e.g. F# Low Pygmy, D Kurd, Amara,
• number of sounds, e.g. 9, 10, 15, 20,
• names of sounds on the upper and lower domes,
• tuning: 432 Hz or 440 Hz,
• color: gold, brown, silver spiral, retro silver 1, retro silver 2, retro silver 3; in the Professional series there are two colors available: gold and brown,
• case: soft case for free or hard case for an additional fee.

You can also write the layout in one line:

Additionally, you can provide a layout, meaning the arrangement of notes on the upper and lower domes. If you don't know how to describe this, simply describe the sound atmosphere you're looking for—I'll help translate it into a specific scale and note arrangement.

Once I receive your message, I will respond with a quote and we will discuss all the details so that your handpan is as close as possible to what you are looking for.
