For detailed information about colors, please see sample color palette.

Please also note that the patina that develops on the surface of stainless steel handpans is not entirely permanent. Over time, the instrument may slightly change color, but this does not affect its sound or tuning. This change is purely cosmetic, giving the instrument a unique, stylish, and unmistakable vintage character.

FAQ

What is a handpan mutant and how is the 9+2 layout different in D AnnaZiska?

The Mutant Handpan features additional notes on the lower dome, in addition to the standard upper arrangement. AnnaZiska's WD has 9 notes on the upper dome and 2 on the lower dome—the additional notes expand the range and provide more harmonic possibilities while maintaining the warm, lyrical character of the entire scale.

Which tuning should I choose – 432 Hz or 440 Hz?

It's a matter of preference. 432 Hz is best for quiet, meditative solo playing, 440 Hz for when you plan to play with other instruments tuned in standard. Both tunings work well for the D AnnaZiska—you choose whichever suits you best.

Is D AnnaZiska suitable for beginners?

Yes, the scale is intuitive and resonates well, so it's suitable for both beginners and more experienced players. The additional two notes on the lower dome give you more room to maneuver as you start to develop your playing.

What material is D AnnaZiska made of and in what colors is it available?

The instrument is crafted from premium stainless steel (Mystic Series) for rich resonance and long-lasting tuning stability. Available in gold or bronze.
