Miłość i Spokój — Handpans with a Human Behind Them

Miłość i Spokój is a place that grew out of my experience with handpans, not from the need to open another shop. I wanted a space where I could buy a good instrument and have the peace of mind that someone had actually paid attention to it.

I personally listen to and test every handpan I send. I won't send an instrument I wouldn't be happy to have on hand myself.

The handpan sounds different from most instruments. One note doesn't disappear immediately—it lingers in the air for several seconds. When you're playing, it's hard to think about anything else. And that's what I love most about this instrument.

Where does the name Miłość i Spokój come from?

The name didn't come from a brainstorm. It took me years to come up with it.

The longer I play, the more I see that simplicity makes the biggest difference. Two things remain: love and peace. The rest—plans, notifications, rush—can wait for a moment, while the sound of the handpan hangs in the air after the strike.

I didn't discover this right away. I figured it out over many evenings with the instrument on my lap.

That's why the brand is called that. It's not a slogan, but a criterion. The handpan I'm sending you is meant to provide both: the pleasure of playing from the first strike, and the peace of mind that the instrument has been thoroughly auditioned by me before it reaches you.

Two series - Professional and Mystical

In the store you will find two main series of handpans.

Professional Series — stainless steel, bright and clear sound. Makers shape and tune each sound field by hand. This is a good choice for a first handpan, for learning, relaxation, and everyday playing.

Mystical Series — Premium stainless steel, a warmer, softer, and more enveloping character. The makers hand-craft the center recesses, hand-shape the sound fields, and hand-tune each note. The series also includes more demanding configurations.

Each instrument is custom-made, and before shipping, I personally check its tuning, balance, and sound. Shipping within Poland is free for orders over 5,000 PLN.
