The instrument is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring durability, increased moisture resistance, and clear sound. The instrument measures 53 cm in diameter and comes in an elegant gold or bronze finish. Each handpan is tuned to 432 Hz or 440 Hz, depending on your preferences.

Q: What is the difference between a 9-note and a 10-note D Kurd?
A: The D Kurd 10 has one more note than the D Kurd 9—a high C5 at the top of the scale (pattern: D3 / A3 Bb3 C4 D4 E4 F4 G4 A4 C5). This expands the melodic register upward and allows for more phrasing possibilities with the same playing technique. The D Kurd 9 is a classic starting choice, but the 10-note version works equally well for beginners. You'll play everything you play on the 9-note version, and more. All beginner tutorials—most often recorded on the D Kurd 9 and 10—will work from day one. You'll add the high C5 when you're ready.
Q: What is the difference between D Kurd 10 Professional and D Kurd 10 Premium?
A: The Professional (stainless steel) version is affordable—starting at 5,400 PLN. The Premium (approximately 1.2 mm stainless steel) version, made by the team behind the Mystic Series, has a deeper sustain and a warmer, more harmonically rich sound. Both versions share the same Kurd scale and note layout.
Q: How long does it take to complete and can I choose the color?
